Youth Nation 2013: One Youth for One Toledo

One of the proposed programs of EYE for 2013 was the three-day youth camp Youth Nation 2013. This was a program designed to allow the youth to understand how it is to be part of a community - how and what to do to become a participating member of our local community.

Youth Nation offered two different programs through the duration of the event, Youth for Peace and Youth for Sports.Youth for Peace was first initiated by the AFP when they came in Toledo to conduct the Youth Leadership Summit. EYE had made Youth for Peace into a committee with the same objectives as the first Youth for Peace program participated by the Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, Fraternity Members, Student Council Officers, Out of School Youths, and Encouraging the Youth to Excel (EYE). Now, it is being continued by EYE. Youth for Sports was a sports clinic offering to teach Flag Football. It was facilitated by the Cebu-based Flag Footkball team 215 Refugees.

Youth Nation offered seminars, hands-on activities, and many other experiences.
