I can't wait for the upcoming "Akong ENGLISH" and "Teach-A-Kid" programs. This Saturday, July 30, I'm expecting more participants for the program. I just love the idea that I get to teach these individuals English for free. It's part of my self-fulfillment. I would love to do this program till every last one of them would be fluent and grammatically correct.
Although I love the activities, I sometimes feel bad because we don't have funds and I get to use my money for the activities. I appreciate Ray Edward Secusana and Nice Gacho because they seem to pity me with the expenses and sometimes they also spend for the org. I just really hope I'd get to have my own job so I can continually support the group. I don't want to give up on them. I just don't want to.
Here are some of our programs. Check it out!

Akong ENGLISH
Yesterday, July 23, 2011 at 2.30 in the afternoon, EYE (Encouraging the Youth to Excel) launched its "Akong ENGLISH" Campaign. This is a literacy program which offers FREE English tutorials to the resident of Toledo City. This is a continuous program which encases the topics for Conversational English, Written English, Speech, and Grammar.
The teachers involved were Carmel Nina Berido, Carmel Rose Racaza, and myself. It was a rainy afternoon and we expected no one would attend. We were glad that although only 8 residents came, I knew they were very much eager to learn considering the fact that although they were having a lot of difficulty with constructing sentences, they still managed to make three to ten. ^_^ It was amazing. The experience was amazing.
Hopefully, by next week, we'd be able to gather more participants.
